Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has recently disclosed its total sales figures for September 2023. The company achieved remarkable domestic sales of 9,861 units, showing a substantial year-on-year growth of over 13 per cent.
Sales Figure In Detail
In comparison, the company had recorded domestic sales of 7,880 units in August 2023. On the export front, HCIL reported 1,310 units in September 2023, indicating a decrease compared to the 2,189 units exported in August 2023. However, it’s worth noting that the automaker had exported 2,333 units in September 2022.
Honda Elevate’s Sales Figure
The significant surge in September’s sales can be attributed to the recent market introduction of Honda’s latest mid-size SUV, the Elevate, which began deliveries this month. The new model has received a positive response since its launch, with the company recently delivering 200 Elevate units in Chennai. The Honda Elevate comes in four variants: SV, V, VX, and ZX, with prices ranging from Rs. 11 lakh to Rs. 16 lakh (ex-showroom).
City and Amaze Continue to Garner Significant Sales
Honda Cars India is currently in an exciting phase with the launch of the all-new Honda Elevate. The new SUV has quickly become a frontrunner and is making a substantial contribution to the sales surge during this festive season. The Honda City and Amaze models also perform strongly in their respective segments. With the Elevate as well, Honda has the same expectations.
Festive Season Ahead, More Sales Anticipated
The automobile industry is witnessing robust demand as the festive season begins. With an extended festive period this year, Honda anticipates this positive momentum will persist, which is highly encouraging. Along with this, with the new launch in the form of Elevate, Honda will aim to attract a large set of customers. Keeping up with the 2023 standards, Elevate is the perfect SUV for India.
