Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Honda has unveiled its latest ADV 350 adventure scooter at the EICMA 2021 motor show in Milan. Developed for the European and American markets, the new ADV 350 takes inspiration from the 2016 X-ADV. Based on the current-gen Forza 350, Honda has utilized its ‘New Adventure Concept for the 2022 ADV 350. The brand has ensured to mix in sophistication with practicality along with a rugged SUV style from the X-ADV.
2022 Honda ADV 350: Design Details
Aimed towards a broad demographic, especially young riders, the ADV 350’s adventure styling features high painted panels with blacked-out components. The scooter’s front fascia features a large yet sharp painted panel with dual LED headlamps and a 4-point adjustable windscreen.
Additionally, at the rear, the adventure scooter sports a sharp yet attractive body-coloured grab rail with a pillion seat. Completing the look is the black-plastic covered exhaust highlighted by a thin silver strip and a single rear LED taillight. The ADV 350 comes in 3 distinct metallic colours- Spangle Silver Metallic, Carbonium Gray Metallic, and Carnelian Red Metallic.
2022 Honda ADV 350: Technical Specs
Powering the ADV 350 is a 330cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke SOHC engine which produces 29 PS and 31.5 Nm. Honda has ensured to pair the engine to a CVT transmission which uses an automatic centrifugal clutch for relaxed riding. Utilizing a steel underbone chassis, the ADV 350 offers a seat height of 795mm and an 11.7-litre fuel tank.
Honda has used an upside-down front suspension along with a twin shock rear suspension for enhanced comfort and handling. In terms of braking performance, the scooter sports a single 256mm front disc with a single 240mm rear disc. Additionally, the scooter features a 2-channel ABS with 15-inch front/14-inch rear wheels in an X-shaped 6-spoke criss-cross pattern.
2022 Honda ADV 350: Accessories & Features
Honda offers a host of practicality-focused and tech features on the new ADV 350 for added versatility. The adventure scooter sports 48-liter under-seat storage, allowing riders to store two full-face helmets along with a separator plate. Honda offers the ADV 350 with a USB Type-C socket inside the lockable front left glove box for easy on-the-go charging.
The scooter’s LCD screen enables the Honda Smartphone Voice Control system for enhanced rider connectivity, which manages calls and music. Riders can use their helmet-mounted headset and Honda’s RoadSync app to activate the system and pair their smartphone using Bluetooth. Honda also offers a Smart Key for riders which can lock the ADV 350 automatically after they step away.
Riders can use the Smart Key to control the main ignition switch knob along with the seat-locking mechanism. Honda also offers a range of genuine optional accessories for the ADV 350, including inner bags and heated grips. Other optional accessories include a 50-litre Smart top box, Outdoor cover, U-Lock, and a Rear carrier rack.
