Honda has launched the new sports edition of Grazia, which boasts to be the most advanced scooter in the category. The urban sports scooter is dubbed Grazia Sports Edition which is priced at INR 82,564 ex-showroom Delhi. The Honda Grazia Sports Edition is offered in two colour options – Pearl Nightstar Black & Sports Red. The brand has also announced that the Grazia Sports Edition will be available at all Honda two-wheeler dealerships across the country.
The Honda Grazia Sports Edition is targeted towards the audience belonging to the young mindshare and features trendy styling such as new racing stripes, sharp LED headlamp units, edgy LED daytime running lights, red-black coloured rear suspension, a new Grazia logo, combination colour front-arc and pillion grab rail. The sporty colour and graphics on the Sports Edition model not only offers a strong road presence but also reverberates with the youthfulness of the buyers.
The Japanese auto major has already upgraded the Grazia to cope with the latest BS6 emission standards and the Grazia Sports Edition is powered by an air-fan-cooled 125cc single-cylinder engine with PGM-FI fuel injection technology, HET (Honda Eco Technology) and Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) that helps produce 8.1 Hp of power and 10.1 Nm of torque matched to a CVT automatic.
The new engine comes with 6 intelligent sensors that feature a Throttle Position Sensor, Oxygen sensor, Engine Speed sensor, Air temperature sensor, Air pressure sensor and Engine oil temperature sensor. The sensors relay data to a central control unit which can inject the correct amount of fuel through the constant feedback from the system.
The Honda Grazia Sports Edition also comes with features such as the Idling Stop System, Side Stand indicator with engine-cut off, a redesigned glove box, 16mm increased ground clearance, integrated pass switch, external fuel lid, black alloy wheels, a fully-digital instruments cluster etc.
