Honda 2Wheelers India sold a total of 4,30,683 units in August 2021. This breaks up as 4,01,469 units for the domestic market and 29,214 units for the international market as exports. The previous month’s sales figure stood at 3,84,920 units, 3,40,420 units as domestic sales and 44,500 units as exports. This translates to a month-over-month growth of 18 per cent. The company mentioned that the sales are growing at a steady pace with more customers now visiting the showrooms. And Honda expects that the upcoming festive season will further enhance the sales.

Honda 2Wheelers India unveiled the all-new CB200X via a virtual launch. This motorcycle is best suited for city rides as well as weekend touring. The Japanese motorcycle maker has put up a sticker price of INR 1,44,500 (ex-showroom). Expanding Honda’s premium motorcycle business network, BigWing opened its first outlet in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Taking forward Honda’s road safety initiative, the company marked the 3rd anniversary of its Children Traffic Training Park in Thane. This park boasts of educating more than 75,000 citizens in just 3 years. Along with this, HMSI also celebrated the 2nd Anniversary of its Safety Driving Education Centre in Ranchi. Under this, a total of 40,000 learner license applicants have been trained as of today.

Respol Honda put on a great show in the British Grand Prix Round 12. Pol Espargaro clinched his best finish of the season by finishing at 5th position. Marc Marquez also showed his valour by securing P8 in the tricky wet condition in Round 10. In the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC), Honda, led by Rajiv Sethu, finished with podium places in Round 1 and Round 2. The young riders in the IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup CBR150R and NSF250R categories also put on an entertaining show. Honda has now introduced a new category, the Honda Hornet 2.0 One Make Race, which serves as a great platform for the youngsters to showcase their talent.
