Emerging electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ignitron Motorcorp has announced the launch of three electric bikes in the Indian market. The first of which is the Yoda electric cruiser motorcycle. Ignitron Motorcorp is launching the electric line of motorcycles under the Cyborg brand. The Cyborg Yoda also claims to be the first electric cruiser motorcycle in the Indian market. The brand will soon reveal the booking dates for the motorcycles in the Indian market. Interested buyers can reserve their Cyborg Yoda from the official company website at INR 1,999.
Cyborg Yoda – Price and Colours
The Cyborg Yoda has been launched with a price tag of INR 184,999 ex-showroom. It is also important to note that additional subsidies across various states will also make the motorbike even more affordable for customers to purchase. Ignitron announced the the Cyborg Yoda will be available two colour variants – Black and Silver.
Cyborg Yoda – Design and Styling
The Cyborg Yoda electric cruiser comes with a classic American cruiser design language. The motorcycle features a rounded headlamp with chrome headlight shroud and hood. The headlamps also features a chrome nacelle a pod-style instruments cluster and twin auxiliary lamps flanking the main beam. The bike also comes with rounded indicator lamps on the front and rear and features a sleek taillamp.
The bike also comes with a tear-drop shape fuel tank with chrome bits, ergonomically designed large seats for both the rider and pillion. The pillion also gets a backrest for added comfort. The Yoda also features a hard-case pannier box. The Cyborg Yoda also comes with alloy wheels, telescopic front fork suspension and coil-over spring suspension on the rear.
Cyborg Yoda – Powertrain and Range
Powering the Cyborg Yoda is a 3.24 kWh Lithium-ion battery. The battery pack claims to offer a range of 150 km on a single charge. This will allow riders to take the Yoda for a long ride. The electric motor is also capable of achieving a top speed of 90 kmph. The bike also claims of sprinting from 0-40 kmph in just 3 seconds.
