Hyundai has launched the All-New Creta Electric SUV with Two Battery Options at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Pricing for the new Hyundai Creta Electric starts from INR 17.99 Lakh ex-showroom. Prices are introductory. Hyundai has strategically kept the pricing of all 42 kWh Creta Electric variants under INR 20 Lakh ex-showroom, to lure customers. Hyundai has officially launched the much-anticipated Creta Electric SUV, marking a significant milestone in the company’s push toward electrification. Designed to cater to both urban commuters and long-distance travelers, the Creta Electric offers two distinct battery options: 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh (Long Range), ensuring it appeals to a diverse range of EV enthusiasts. Hyundai Creta Electric Performance and Battery Options The Creta Electric comes equipped with a state-of-the-art Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM). This motor delivers impressive power outputs, depending on the chosen battery variant: 42 kWh Variant: • Max Power: 99 kW (135 PS) • Driving Range (MIDC Cycle): 390 km 51.4 kWh Long Range Variant: • Max Power: 126 kW (171 PS) • Driving Range (MIDC Cycle): 473 km Both variants use a liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery pack to maintain optimal performance and efficiency across various conditions. Hyundai Creta Electric Charging Capabilities The Creta Electric is designed with convenience in mind, featuring CCS2 charging support for fast and efficient charging. Key charging highlights include: • AC Fast Charging (11 kW): • 42 kWh variant: Fully charged in 4 hours • 51.4 kWh variant: Fully charged in 4 hours 50 minutes • DC Fast Charging (50 kW): • Both variants can charge from 10% to 80% in just 58 minutes. Hyundai Creta Electric Design and Dimensions The Creta Electric retains the sleek and bold design language of its ICE counterpart while incorporating modern electric-specific elements. Measuring 4,340 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, and 1,655 mm in height, the SUV offers ample cabin space, making it ideal for families and adventurers alike. It also boasts a wheelbase of 2,610 mm, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride. Hyundai Creta Electric Suspension, Braking, and Wheels Hyundai has equipped the Creta Electric with: • Front Suspension: McPherson strut with coil spring. • Rear Suspension: Coupled torsion beam axle. • Brakes: Disc brakes at both front and rear. • Wheels and Tyres: 215/60 R17 Aero alloy wheels (with a steel spare wheel).
