Today, Ather Energy, the emerging e-mobility company, inaugurated its first experience centre (retail outlet) at Lajpat Nagar, Delhi. This takes the total count of Ather Space, and this is what Ather likes to call its showrooms, to 10. The company claims that Ather Space will offer the customers an immersive experience of owning an electric vehicle in great detail. The showroom will also provide the customers to get a first-hand experience of Ather 450 Plus via test rides. The first Ather Space came up in Bengaluru back in 2018. And ever since, it has been quite a roller coaster ride for Ather as a company.
Delhi Government Offering Various Subsidies For Electric Vehicles
The demand for electric vehicles is at an all-time high. The rising fuel price is one of the key compelling factors pushing customers to opt for electric vehicles. Along with this, various incentives both by the Central Government and State Government have made owning an electric vehicle much more lucrative. In an attempt to push Delhites to opt for electric vehicles, Delhi Government has announced a host of incentives with benefits on road tax and registration fees. And thus, Ather 450X and 450 Plus are available at the lowest price in Delhi.
New Delhi is also improving its charging infrastructure to support the growing number of electric vehicles in the capital. Ather is also doing its bit by expanding its charging infrastructure in the area. Currently, the company has set up 14-fast charging points in critical areas of Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, and Ghaziabad.

After the recent amendment in the FAME II subsidy, Ather 450X retails at an ex-showroom price of INR 1,32,426. Whereas, Ather 450 Plus has a sticker price of INR 1,13,416 (ex-showroom). Customers can also opt for the Ather Energy Assured Buyback program. This enables the customers to get INR 85,000 as a guaranteed value for the Ather 450X at the end of 3 years.
