Hungarian brand Keeway adds yet another 125cc motorcycle to its lineup. This is the Keeway SR125. This is a commuter motorcycle segment and the design language is pretty much retro-inspired. The SR125 is Keeway’s seventh launch for the Indian market in the last 5 months. With this, SR125 marks the new entry point to the manufacturer’s range. Customers have three colors we choose from. These are, namely, White, Black, and Red.
What Is The Keeway SR125?
In terms of design, the SR125 draws its inspiration as being a retro-inspired design with its wire-spoke wheels. The use of dual-purpose tyres, single-pod instrument cluster, and simplistic round light clusters further add to the overall outlook. The single-piece ribbed seat, gaiters on the front telescopic fork, and twin-shock rear suspension give the motorcycle a typical retro look.
Keeyway SR15 – Key Mechanical Highlights
This SR125 launched in India uses the same 125cc engine. The performance output of the motor reads as 10.05 BHP of power and 8.9 Nm of torque. The motorcycle tips the scale at around 120 kg. The unit uses a 5-speed gearbox. Braking power comes via standard fit disc brakes with a 300mm unit up front and a 240mm rotor at the rear. The motorcycle gets a combi-braking system thus adding to the safety. With a 14.5-liter fuel tank, short weekend trips won’t be a problem per se.
