Hungarian marque, Keeway, launched not one but two motorcycles in India today. These are the all-new K300 N and K300 R. The former is a naked street fighter motorcycle, while the K300 R is a fully-faired sport bike. After launching three products at once and then the fourth one, Keeway India has launched the new K300 twins, which Keeway claims offer an optimum blend of unique features, styling, power, and performance.

Like the K300 N, the K300 R will also be available for test rides across all the authorised Benelli | Keeway dealerships in India from today. Furthermore, the brand has also commenced the bookings for the two motorcycles for INR 10,000. Interested customers can book the K300 R by visiting the brand’s website or the nearest dealership. Deliveries for the K300 R will start from September-end.

Keeway K300 R – Price & Colour Options

Pricing for the all-new fully-faired sport bike from Keeway, K300 R, starts at INR 2,99,000 ex-showroom. Similar to the K300 N, the K300 R will also come in only a single variant and a total of 3 colour options. The pricing will vary depending on the colour option you choose.

Unlike the K300 N, which gets matte colours, the K300 R gets glossy colour options. There are 3 colour options to choose from – Glossy White, Glossy Red and Glossy Black. The starting price of INR 2,99,000 ex-showroom is for the Glossy White colour option. The other two, Glossy Red and Glossy Black, retail for INR 3,10,000 and INR 3,20,000 ex-showroom, respectively.

Keeway K300 R – Highlights

Keeway claims the K300 R is the perfect companion for those who are passionate about speed. Furthermore, the brand claims the streamlined machine has a knack for speed and is designed to keep you engaged. The Keeway K300 R sports a sleek aerodynamic design with its short windshield, and compact handlebars, while its drag-reducing fairings cut through the air. Additionally, it also has an aggressive riding position for a more engaging rider experience. The K300 R, like the K300 N, also gets dual riding modes. For a better rider experience, a user-friendly display displays all the important ride metrics.

Keeway K300 R – Technical Specifications

The K300 R shares all of its mechanicals with the K300 N. Thus, the K300 R uses a 292.4cc liquid-cooled 4-valve single-cylinder engine which makes 27.5 PS at 8,750 rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Also, like the K300 N, it gets a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.

The suspension, brakes and tyre sizes are also similar to the K300 N. The front uses 37 mm upside-down forks, and the rear is a centrally-mounted monoshock. The K300 R uses disc brakes at both ends with Dual-Channel ABS as standard. The front one measures 292 mm and uses a 4-piston calliper, while the rear uses a 220 mm disc with a single-piston calliper. The K300 R uses 110/70-section front and 140/60-section rear tyres with 17-inch alloy wheels.

While the K300 N and K300 R share the same wheelbase, there are a few differences in other dimensions. The K300 R measures 2,010 mm in length, 750 mm in width and 1,080 mm in height. The ground clearance and fuel tank capacity, at 135 mm and 12 litres, is also lower than the K300 N. However, the K300 R has a lower seat height of 780 mm, compared to the K300 N’s 795 mm.
