2025 MG Majestor SUV complete details

MG revealed its upcoming flagship SUV Majestor at the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year. It was then made clear that it will be launched soon in India.

Now, ahead of its official launch, the showroom-ready version of the Majestor SUV has been spotted on the road. The black colour SUV shows its massive road presence and the new sleek and modern design language.

The car spotted has big and bold Majestor lettering on its boot and Morris Garage lettering above the connecting LED lightbar. The rear bumper gets a big skid plate and twin chrome exhaust tip outlets.

At the front, it gets a sharp and sleek LED DRL setup with vertical LED lights. The complete front fascia is new, and it gets a revised set of machine-cut 6-spoke alloy wheels as well.

While the cabin details are yet unknown, the earlier viral spy photos of the interiors have shown us its new dashboard, new seats, and a new set of features like a big infotainment screen, digital console, and leather upholstery.

Powering the Majestor SUV will be the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine as the Gloster. It will come mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and a 4×4 drivetrain as standard.

MG is likely to launch the Majestor before the festive season later this year. It will be positioned above the Gloster, as both SUV models will be sold side-by-side.

Our conclusion

The upcoming Majestor SUV is going to be MG’s second attempt to take on the SUV segment king, the Toyota Fortuner. The Gloster had tried its best with its premium appeal and black editions earlier, but it failed to defeat the Fortuner’s legacy. Will the Majestor be able to turn the tables around? Let’s see.
