At the 2021 VMoto Soco World Premiere where the Australian electric mobility solutions company, VMotoSoco unveiled the new 2021 TC Wanderer and TS Street Hunter electric motorcycles, Super Soco also unveiled the 100% electric scooter called ‘CUmini’. The brand did not reveal prices on either the electric motorcycles or the CUmini e-scooter but the market launch of all three electric vehicles is not too far in the future. The new CUmini electric scooter targets young-generation buyers and is apt for urban commutes.
Design & Styling
The CUmini comes with a ‘Fun Way To Move’ slogan and comes with a contemporary minimalist design approach that appeals to young urban commuters. The front apron is quite flat and integrates a full LED headlamp that warps the front end and ensures great nighttime visibility, the handlebar shroud comes with a strip of daytime running light in LED and the e-scooter also comes with LED tail lamps and indicators lamps. The CUmini features a split seat design a generous floorboard, 12-inch alloy wheels and telescopic front suspension.
Powertrain
Powering the Super Soco CUmini is a 600W electric motor that is capable of propelling the electric scooter to a speed of 45 kmph and consumes less than 1.6 kWh per hundred kilometres. The e-scooter houses a 48V 20 Ah battery pack that is capable of delivering 60/70 km on a single charge. The user-removable and portable battery pack weighs only 7.2 kgs and can be charged at home or office improving the user-convenience. 0-100% charging using a domestic charger takes approximately 7 hours.
Features
The Super Soco CUmini comes with disc brakes for stopping power, a large LCD display that shows the speed, odometer, state of charge etc and also comes with a keyless remote control and the e-scooter also comes with a parking mode that enables the rider to handle the scooter better when manoeuvring the CUmini in tight parking spaces.
