Hyundai has launched the all-new Alcazar SUV at a price starting at INR 16.30 lakh ex-showroom, India. The new SUV comes with 6-seat and 7-seat options. The Hyundai Alcazar will come with three variants – Prestige, Platinum and Signature. The brand also offers two engine options on the Alcazar with both Manual and Automatic transmissions.
2021 Hyundai Alcazar – Variants and Price
The Hyundai Alcazar comes with three trims in both petrol and diesel engine options. The entry-level trim is the Prestige, starting at INR 16,30,300 ex-showroom, India and the top-of-the-range Signature Automatic 6-seater diesel priced at INR 19,99,900 ex-showroom, India. 2021 Hyundai Alcazar – Engine Specifications & Dimensions
The Hyundai Alcazar SUV comes with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The motor produces 159 PS of power and 191 Nm of torque. Hyundai also offers a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel powertrain that makes 115 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. Both the engines come with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter type automatic.
The gearbox comes with an optimised Final Gear Ratio (FGR) for extended highway cruising. The new optimised gearbox also gets a triple cone synchro and TGS (Transmission Gear Shift) lever stopper for smoother shifting. Additionally, Hyundai also offers Drive Mode Select (Comfort, Eco, Sport) and Traction Control Modes (Snow, Sand, Mud) on the Alcazar SUV.
The Hyundai Alcazar measures 4,500mm in length, 1,790mm in width, 1,675mm in height and comes with a wheelbase of 2,760mm. The SUV also gets 180-litres of boot space.

The Hyundai Alcazar comes with a chrome studded grille that mingles well with the radical headlamps. The headlamps feature Triple-LED projectors, and boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights. The SUV also gets foglights lower on the front bumper and a silver skid plate. In addition, the Alcazar comes with a prominent character line on the side that runs the complete length of the car.
The SUV also comes with roof rails, a generous footboard, blackout pillars and wraparound tail lamps with a chrome bar connecting the two LED units. The car rides on 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with a diamond-cut design. The Hyundai Alcazar also comes with Polar White, Phantom Black, Starry Night, Titan Grey, Taiga Brown, and Typhoon Silver exterior colour options.

The Hyundai Alcazar is based on the popular Hyundai Creta but comes with a 2,760 mm wheelbase. To put things into perspective, the Hyundai Creta features a 2610mm wheelbase. This allows the three-row SUV to have roomier interiors. On the inside, the Alcazar comes with a Premium Dual Tone Cognac Brown theme. The car also gets the option of 2+3+2 or 2+2+2 seating. The latter of which comes with Captain seats in the middle row with a centre console and cup-holders. The seats also feature a One Touch Tip and Tumble for easy ingress and egress from the third row.

The Hyundai Alcazar gets an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, ventilated front row seats, AC controls in the third-row, reclining second-row seats in the 6-seater version, 50:50 split on the third row, a 10.25-inch Multi-Display Digital Cluster, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 8-speaker Bose Premium Sound System and Advanced Hyundai Blue Link – Connected-Car Technology.
