The 2015 model year Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R has landed & been delivered to its customer in India. Sporting a dual-tone, green and black colour combination, this ZX-14R will surely help differentiate between the manufacturing years.
Powering the ZX-14R is a 1,441cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line four, DOHC, 16 valve engine with fuel injection. It produces 200 PS of power @ 10,000 RPM and 210 PS of power @ 10,000 RPM with RAM air. Torque figures are at 162.5 Nm @ 7,500 RPM.
However, the model which is delivered to the customer differs a little from the colour scheme which the manufacturer reveals on its websites. Click here to check out the actual model which has made it to the Indian streets.
Primary difference is only cosmetic. The side fairing gets black treatment, but the fin-like aero cuts for heat dissipation are still to be seen in green. The rear panel below the pillion seat is seen in green in the model in India, but websites reveal that this part is painted in black. All other mechanicals remain identical to the model we have reviewed.
