Written by Nizam Shaikh

Yamaha’s XSR 155 is a popular motorcycle in the Southeast Asian market. The motorcycle comes with a modern-classic design and Yamaha’s venerable 155cc single-cylinder engine. However, the platform has proven itself to be perfect for customisation. In garages all around the world, enthusiasts have been customising their Yamaha motorcycles showcased at the Yamaha Yard Built. In this episode of Yamaha Yard Built Indonesia, Papnmam_Modified, a custom house from Indonesia, showcased their futuristic creation in the form of the Yamaha XSR 155 Flattracker concept motorcycle.

Yamaha XSR 155 Flat Tracker Concept – Design Highlights

The Yamaha XSR 155 flat tracker concept gets a futuristic design language. The custom-house had managed to delete the classic aspect of the motorcycle that associates itself with the XSR brand and given the concept an edgy and quirky design. On the front, the XSR155 comes with a squared panel that integrates the LED lights in the form of a thin LED light strip. The bike gets a sleek fuel tank with aero winglets integrated into it. The aerostructures also add muscle and form a cowling around the tank.

The seat integrates well with the tank and offers a floating design to the rear end. The XSR 155 flat tracker features a flat taper handlebar with a rounded bar-end mirror slung under the bar and a pod-like rounded instruments cluster in the centre. The motorcycle also comes with uniquely designed alloy wheels shod in Pirelli Diablo tyres. The bike also comes with an under-seat exhaust and a bespoke underbelly cowl. The tank top also features the “Yamaha Yard Built” badge.
