Do not believe the image posted above where Volkswagen is trying to show the Vento Sport as a RWD car with the rear wheels spinning. The German car brand has launched the Vento Sport as yet another refresh to the ageing Vento in India, even though globally the new MQB based models are going on sale.
The Vento Sport has been priced in India starting from INR 11.44 lakh onwards. This makes the new Vento Sport the top trim in the models lineup.
So what is new on the Vento Sport?
- Carbon-fibre vinyl on ORVM
- 16″ 10-spoke Prtago alloy wheels
- Black decans on the doors
- Gloss black roof
- Lip spoiler in black
- Red exterior paint option
- LED headlamps with LED DRLs
All other features available on the Vento Highline Plus trim are available on the new Vento Sport as well. Powering the Vento Sport are the same engine options which include a 105 HP, 1.6L petrol and 110 HP, 1.5L diesel engine. You also have a 1.2L turbo-petrol diesel engine with 105 HP in the Vento lineup.
Customers can also ask for the Vento Sport variant based on the MY2017 model. With this, you can get benefits of up to INR 1.2 lakh, additional benefits of INR 25,000 if booked before March 20, 2018 and loyalty benefit for INR 20,000.
