Mahindra’s latest electric models, the XEV 9e and BE 6e, are witnessing high demand across India. Mahindra has revealed the sales report and details of the waiting period for both models. Read complete details below.

Mahindra XEV 9e, BE 6e waiting period details
As per the newly released report, Mahindra has successfully delivered 3,000 units of the XEV 9e and BE 6e combined since March 20. The deliveries of both electric SUVs commenced in March across India.
As per the report, 59 per cent of the total bookings received are for the XEV 9e model. Meanwhile, the BE 6e has received 41 per cent of the total bookings. The company says that its ‘Pack Three’ variants, with the bigger battery, are in more demand for both models.
The XEV 9e and BE 6e both share the newly developed all-electric INGLO platform by Mahindra. With the help of this platform, Mahindra has been able to offer two battery pack options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The maximum driving range offered is 680 km per charge.
The XEV 9e, which is a bigger model that offers practicality for family and highway use and needs, is priced from Rs 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Meanwhile, the BE 6e, which offers a futuristic and youthful design with a smaller cabin, is priced from Rs 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and reaches up to Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom).

Our verdict
The newly launched electric platform by Mahindra is going to be in high demand for a long time. Both models that are on offer currently are equipped with long-range and advanced tech, which is generally seen on electric vehicles twice the price tag.
