TVS Motor Company announces its sales report for January 2022. The two-wheeler manufacturer registered a total sales of 2,66,788 units for the given period. The same for January 2021 stood at 3,07,149 units. Various constraints like the rise in Covid cases and the sporadic supply in semiconductor chips is acting as negative factors for sales. TVS recently tied up with Swiggy to deploy its electric scooter in the delivery fleet. This helps both the companies to achieve their sustainable and comprehensive solutions. Given the rising demand for electric vehicles in the country, TVS will add more EVs to its portfolio. Currently, the two-wheeler maker has the iQube as the only offering. The scooter retails at an ex-showroom price of INR 1,00,777, including all subsidies.
