2022 was Skoda’s biggest Year in terms of sales. Now in 2023, Skoda is back with yet another innovative and customer-centric initiative. This initiative aims at enhancing ownership experience and customer satisfaction. Called Anytime Warranty, this is a 1-year/20,000 km warranty package, which a customer can use to enhance any existing standard or extended warranty.

Skoda India’s Customer-Centric Initiatives

These initiatives prove that ŠKODA AUTO India is not just about cars. The carmaker is keen on adding several innovations that provide an unparalleled ownership and maintenance experience for its customers. Anytime Warranty is one such offering from the brand that aims to deliver on Skoda’s promise of customer satisfaction and hassle-free ownership experience.

ŠKODA AUTO India already offers the Indian automotive market a 4-year/100,000 km standard warranty. This is when the industry standard is about 3 years/75,000kms. In addition, ŠKODA is also offering an option to extend the 4-year standard warranty to the 5th and 6th year/150,000 km under its Peace of Mind programme. This all-new Anytime Warranty is in addition to the existing standard and extended warranties offered by Skoda. This allows customers to have additional warranty coverage of up to 8 years/150,000 km.

Anytime Warranty Best Suited For Older Skodas

The Anytime Warranty is perfect for the older generations of the KODIAQ (TDI), SUPERB, OCTAVIA, YETI and the RAPID. ŠKODA mentioned that any car within 7 years of age and/or with mileage less than 130,000 km is eligible for this Anytime Warranty. Furthermore, all of these warranties – standard, extended or Anytime Warranty – are transferable to the next owner. Interestingly enough, customers who have had their existing warranty expire can also purchase the Any Time Warranty. But this is subject to the car meeting inspection standards.

Increase In Customer Touchpoints Across The Country

In 2022, ŠKODA AUTO took a big step in increasing its customer touchpoints in India. The number of customer touchpoints rose to over 240 from 175 at the end of 2021. Another key aspect was that Skoda also brought down maintenance costs by up to 21 per cent. With guided measures and high levels of localisation, Skoda was able to achieve this. The Anytime Warranty is a statement from Skoda for its customer-centric endeavour to provide satisfaction and a hassle-free maintenance and ownership experience.
