The 350cc lineup of Royal Enfield might get more exciting. This is because the two-wheeler might soon launch a new motorcycle in this segment. Recently, a motorcycle with this engine has been spied testing on Indian roads.
What Do We Know So Far?
As seen in bobbers, the test mule got a single seat with exposing swooping rear fender. Interestingly, the back fender also got an LED indicator and tail lamp very similar to what we see in the Super Meteor 650. Moreover, the exhaust gets a blacked-out treatment and a larger opening at the end.
Other than the aforementioned changes, the entire bodywork of the bobber, including major parts like the headlamp casing, fuel tank, side panels, and fenders look very similar to that of the Classic 350.
Engine And Mechanical Highlights Classic 350 Bobber
As expected, the engine of the Bobber 350 will most likely remain the same as that of the Classic 350. Hence, this is a 349cc, air-oil-cooled, long-stroke unit. This comes mated to a five-speed gearbox making 20.2 BHP and 27 Nm of peak torque. Thus like the engine, a majority of the hardware will most likely remain the same.
Features List For Classic 350 Bobber
Talking of features, we could see the tripper navigation being offered as a standard fitment. Although the Classic gets it as an option. However, the USB charging port and the semi-digital console will more certainly make their way into the feature list.
Price And Launch Timeline
We are aware that the range-topping Classic Chrome colour variant of the Classic 350 retails with a price tag of INR 2.21 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Bobber variant, meanwhile, with more features might be slightly more expensive than this. Talking of the launch schedule, Royal Enfield could launch this motorcycle towards the end of this year.
