With 79,466 motorcycles sold in December 2024, Royal Enfield reported high sales, up 25% from the previous year. Additionally, the brand’s exports increased significantly, shipping 11,575 motorcycles in the month compared to 6,096 the year before. Royal Enfield’s growing demand in both domestic and international markets is demonstrated by this strong year-end performance.
Royal Enfield 2024 Sales Performance:
Strong sales of 79,466 motorcycles, a 25% increase from 63,387 in December 2023, were recorded by Royal Enfield at the end of 2024. Exports increased by 90% to 11,575 units, while domestic sales increased by 19% to 67,891 units. The business has sold 727,077 motorcycles so far this year, up 6% from 685,059 units sold in 2023. An important factor was the 35% increase in exports to 74,221 units. This strong showing demonstrates the brand’s growing popularity in India and abroad.
By establishing its first fully owned CKD assembly plant outside of India in Samut Prakan, Bangkok, Royal Enfield has increased its global presence. The state-of-the-art facility, which occupies 57,000 square feet, can produce over 30,000 units annually. The brand’s commitment to the Thai market and the larger Asia-Pacific area is demonstrated by this new location. In addition to its current operations in Bangladesh, Nepal, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina, it is Royal Enfield’s sixth CKD assembly facility worldwide.
Pre-owned Royal Enfield Motorcycle Program In 236 cities:
To cater to motorcycle enthusiasts across the country, Royal Enfield has extended its REOWN pre-owned motorcycle program to 236 cities in India. REOWN, which was introduced in 2023, offers a simplified platform for purchasing, selling, and trading used Royal Enfield motorcycles while maintaining transparency and confidence. Today, 475 dealerships in 24 states are part of the program, which makes it simpler for consumers to own and improve their motorcycles. The company has also launched its first loyalty program, which offers special exchange perks to improve the ownership experience even further.
