Royal Enfield launches women’s apparel range in India

Royal Enfield Apparel division was conceived back in 2014 and Royal Enfield has launched its first-ever apparel and riding gear range, exclusively for women in India available online at the brand’s apparel dedicated web portal and at select stores in Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Kolkata. 

The new women’s collection is in-line with the brand’s commitment of ‘pure motorcycling’ inspired by the brand’s ‘motorcycling way of life’, that led the brand to create a collection of clothing especially for the women riding community also keeping in mind the riding habits and the varied weather conditions across the country. 

The new Royal Enfiled Women apparel collection includes safety equipment such as helmets, riding jackets, riding trousers and gloves along with shirts, t-shirts and jeans that ranges between INR 700 to INR 14,000. The first collection includes a summer mesh suit and a three-layer all-weather riding suit, classic leather jackets with armour insert pockets, leather gloves and a coated cotton jacket with leather details.

It is also being rumoured that the brand is developing a new smaller capacity Royal Enfield motorcycle with a lighter overall weight and a lower saddle height targeted toward women riders. The brand is also developing a new-generation UCE 350 engine that will go on sale in the near future the brand has been planning to introduce new motorcycles along with the new UCE 350 engine. While the Royal Enfield ‘Meteor’ has been spied testing in the open sans camouflage, images of a new test mule that is being speculated to be the Royal Enfield ‘Hunter’ have also surfaced the internet.
