Kia has teased the production version the Kia EV3 which is slated for its global launch on the 23rd May 2024. The Kia EV3 compact electric SUV features a bold, geometric and robust design. The brand also reveals that the design draws its inspiration by Kia’s award-winning ‘Opposites United’ philosophy.
Kia EV3 – Design
The Kia EV3 compact electric SUV features boxy rear fenders and tailgate. In addition to this, the EV3 features signature Star Map lighting offering a futuristic design identity. The design of the EV3 compact electric SUV features Kia’s flagship EV9 SUV and the brand’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy. However, the EV3 will still have its own unique. character.
Kia also revealed that the EV3 electric SUV will also come with accessibility to electric vehicles as well as performance. The company will also be incorporating innovative technologies in to the EV3 compact electric SUV. Kia also revealed that the EV3 will go on sale later this year, after its world premiere. The brand has not yet revealed if the EV3 compact electric SUV will come to the India market.

In other news, Kia India revealed that the brand has partnered with MapMyIndia, integrating the navigation solutions in Kia vehicles. The new integrated maps will also offer POIs with quick access to fuel stations, hospitals, hotels, restaurant locations, and more. The points of interest on the Kia X MapMyIndia will be 4-wheeler-specific Points of Interests.
Also the search spans over 450 categories and offers an easy access to vital services such as Kia dealerships and service centers, revealed the brand. In addition to this, MapMyIndia will come with speed limit alerts as well as real-time incident updates. This will include water logging, road works, traffic jams, and voice-guided navigation support while driving. MapMyIndia will integrate with My Kia and Kia Connect platforms under the strategic partnership.
