Porsche has announced the launch of the Cayenne Coupe in India. There will be 2 models on offer in the Indian market which includes the Cayenne Coupe priced at INR 1.31 crore and the Cayenne Turbo Coupe priced at INR 1.97 crore. Both models are brought to India via the CBU route and deliveries will commence in early 2020. Compared to the standard Cayenne models, the Coupe variants are expensive by up to INR 12 lakhs. The Porsche Cayenne Coupe will rival other luxury SUVs like the Audi A8 and Range Rover Sport.
Powering the Porsche Cayenne Coupe is a 3.0L, V6, turbocharged petrol motor producing 340 HP of power and 450 Nm of torque. The Cayenne Turbo Coupe is comes powered by a 4.0L, V8, twin-turbo gasoline motor producing 550 HP of power and 770 Nm of torque. Both the variants are matched to an 7-speed gearbox delivering power to all four wheels. Porsche might consider introducing the Cayenne Turbo S e-Hybrid Coupe to the Indian audience sometime later. The hybrid engine has a power output of 680 HP.
Styling features include the iconic 4-dot LED DRLs, LED headlamp and tail lamp, sloping roof line, 20″ alloy wheels, 43mm shorter in height, 18mm wider than standard Cayenne at the back, wider rear track, lower positioned rear seat, 598L boot space, similar dashboard as the standard Cayenne and Panamera, feather touch controls for climate control, 3-spoke steering wheel, alcantara roof liner, panoramic glass roof, all-black interior theme, leather upholstery with electric seats, cruise control, etc.
