Porsche India has posted a strong sales figure for Q1 of 2022. The company kept up with the sales performance of last year, which saw Porsche India post its best sales performance since 2014. In terms of quarterly performance compared to Q1 2021, there’s a 22-per cent increase this term. The company mentioned that a total of 188 customers took delivery of their new Porsche. Hence, this marks the carmaker’s best quarter of business performance since 2013. The SUV range of Porsche India consists of Cayenne and Macan, both continuing to propel the sales for the brand. In fact, both models were the most sold nameplates in Porsche India’s portfolio.
Porsche India Plans For India
In the recent few months, Porsche India expanded its presence to new regions across the country. Furthermore, Porsche has also worked hard to enhance the customer experience across all locations. Porsche India added its facilities in Bengaluru and Chennai, thus increasing its presence to eight sales locations across the country.
The sales figure in 2021 saw an increase of 62 per cent over the previous year, and we see a similar trend in the first quarter as well. This speaks volumes of customers’ growing trust in Porsche India. Additionally, the carmaker is also taking major steps to attract more customers to join the brand. The footfall in the showrooms is also increasing, along with the number of test drives. This is a positive indicator that suggests the growing popularity of the Porsche Brand.
The Road Ahead
With the demand rising high, Porsche India is expanding its range of models. New models such as the Cayenne Turbo GT and the 718 Cayman GT4 RS have created much buzz. We expect Porsche India to introduce more new models to keep the audience engaged. The company is currently working on plans to offer several exhilarating driving experiences for Porsche customers. Furthermore, Porsche is also looking at other activities to connect with the community of like-minded sports car drivers.
