Quite an interesting product was shipped to us by Motomax and we’re glad they did.
In June 2015, Motomax launched an ‘Insta Shine’ polishing solution priced at just Rs. 20. What’s available in this small pouch is a sponge doused in polish. All one needs to do is start swabbing the bike surface.
How the Insta Shine sponge looks, when unused
This product is targeting to motorcycle owners since 1 Insta Shine sponge is capable of polishing your motorcycle panels completely. And this did hold true. We tried it on a Royal Enfield Continental GT, and the sponge still had some juice left (Also because the Continental GT has lesser body panels).
On a bigger bike, a fully faired motorcycle, may be you might need two pieces of this. But that’s still a steal considering a quick polish would cost just Rs. 40.
The polish is recommended on painted surfaces as well as plastic parts.
Here’s what we did:
- Took our bike which was unwashed since weeks.
- Gave it a soap + water wash
- Wiped it dry
- Started swabbing it with the ‘Insta Shine’ sponge
- After a couple of minutes, swabbed the surface again with a micro-fibre cloth
Within 10 – 15 minutes, we managed to get the bike polished.
This product is quite useful if you’re going for a quick ride & want your bike to look nice & shiny.
