The globally reputed manufacturer of two and three-wheelers, TVS Motor Company, announces its partnership agreement with PETRONAS. The alliance will see the progressive energy company become the title partner of India’s first factory racing team, TVS Racing.
TVS Racing and PETRONAS – Partnership Details
The racing team will get a new name – PETRONAS TVS Racing Team. The team will also feature a new livery as part of the alliance starting from this season. The international lubricant company PETRONAS will also supply its PETRONAS Sprinta high-performance engine oil to the teams.
The company will supply the oil to teams participating in road racing, supercross and rally formats of racing, including the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC), Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) and Indian National Supercross Championship (INSC).
A strategic business alliance will also see PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) develop a co-branded engine oil. The new co-branded oil – PETRONAS TVS TRU4 RacePro, will also be available for consumers across India from May 2022. According to the company, the PETRONAS TVS TRU4 RacePro engine oil’s formulation uses the premium additive technology that the PETRONAS-TVS Racing Team uses. The company adds this is so that TVS customers can experience the same technology and performance in their road bikes.
