Okinawa has launched another electric scooter today in the Indian market by the name PraisePro. This is the 3rd variant of the Praise series of electric scooters from the brand, and has been priced at INR 71,990 ex-showroom. Okinawa will retail the PraisePro in red and black paint options as seen in the images below.
Powering the PraisePro is a 1,000 Watt, BLDC waterproof motor with a peak power output of 2,500 Watt. The brand claims that this scooter will have a speed of 30-35 kmph in economy mode, 50-60 kmph in sports mode and 65-70 kmph in turbo mode. The range in economy and sports is 110 km and 88 km respectively, as rated by ARAI. The scooter can have a gradient climb easily of up to 15-degrees.
Okinawa is offering 3 years warranty for the battery and motor.
Features on the Okinawa PraisePro include LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, LED DRLs, central locking with anti-theft alarm, keyless entry, find my scooter, USB charging point, reverse walking assist, front and rear disc brakes, E-ABS (electronic assist braking system), regenerative braking, front telescopic suspension, double shock absorber at the rear, CNC finished levers, etc.
Okinawa claims a charging time of 2-3 hours on a 84V, 10A micro charger. The PraisePro measures 1970mm in length, 745mm in width, 1165mm in height, has a loading capacity of 150 kg, 90/90-12 tubeless tyres, 175mm of ground clearance and a under seat storage capacity of 7-litres.
