Are you looking to buy the Triumph Trident 660? There’s some good news for you. The motorcycle maker recently unveiled the 2022 update for the motorcycle, and chances are high we would see the same arrive in our country as well. As part of this, customers will now have one new colour shade to choose from. The new colour is the Matt Baja Orange/Matte Storm Grey. The existing colour options Silver Ice/Diablo Red, Matt Jet Black/Silver Ice and Sapphire Black will continue with no changes. Other than paint options, there are no changes as such, and mechanically the motorcycle remains the same.
Powertrain And Engine
Powering the motorcycle is a 660cc inline-three cylinder engine that makes 79.8 BHP and 64 Nm. The equipped gearbox is a six-speed unit that also gets a slipper clutch as standard fitment. Key features include riding modes- Road and Rain, digital console, Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control, and also full-LED lighting. The tubular steel perimeter frame gets the support of upside-down forks for the front and a mono-shock for the rear. Braking power comes from a pair of 310mm twin discs at the front and a 255mm single disc at the back. The fuel capacity of 14 litres is enough for weekend trips. The anti-locking braking system is also a standard fitment for the motorcycle.
