MY23 Hyundai Venue details leak before launch

Written by Kanad Kalasur

Hyundai is gearing up to launch the 2023 Venue. Now, just days ahead of its launch, the details feature list as well as details of the variants has leaked online.

What’s new in the 2023 Hyundai Venue

For starters, Hyundai is offering three powertrain options on the new Venue. These include the 1.2-litre NA petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. While the petrol motors are carried over, the diesel one now makes 5 PS more than the outgoing version. Thus the 1.5-diesel now makes 115 PS. This means, the Venue diesel makes the same power as the Creta diesel. With a smaller footprint and lower weight, this would mean that Venue diesel could be a hoot to drive.

Major Features of the 2023 Hyundai Venue

The Venue is available in five trims – E, S, S(O), SX and SX(O). Hyundai is also offering the N line in two variants – N6 and N6. Coming to diesel, the variants are S+, SX and SX(O). Standard tyres are 195/65-R15 spec mounted on steel rims with wheel covers are offered on all variants barring the SX(O).  Meanwhile, the larger 215/60-R16 tyre is offered with SX Diesel trim and petrol S(O).

Other features like keyless entry, TPMS and auto headlights come from the S trim onwards, while the Auto IRVM is available from S(O). For the diesel trims, Auto IRVM is only offered with SX(O) variant. For the petrol variants, the LED projector headlights, cornering lamps, DRLs, and LED taillights are offered beginning from S(O). However, for the diesels, these are offered from the SX while for the N line it is standard across both the trims.

Interior features of the 2023 Hyundai Venue

On the inside, the Venue gets adjustable front headrests, but only the SX trims and beyond come with adjustable rear ones. Hyundai is also offering leather steering wheel and gear knob, rear reclining seats, rear seat armrest with cup holders amongst others from the SX variant.

While lower variants come with a 4.2” TFT display and front center armrest (S onwards), the SX and N Line variants get an electric sunroof, automatic climate control (FATC), push-button start with smart key, wireless charger, cooled glove box, and folding ORVMs amongst others.

The company is also offering remote start on the turbo petrol SX trims and beyond.

Safety Features of 2023 Hyundai Venue

Coming to safety features, dual front airbags, pre-tensioners, central locking, immobilizer, and auto door lock are offered on all the variants. The S(O) gets the side airbags while the SX(O) and above come with curtain airbags. That said, the diesel trims get curtain airbags from SX trim while the  N Line gets it on the N8.
