MY22 Toyota Glanza hatchback launched in India at INR 6.39 lakh

Toyota has launched the cool-new Glanza hatchback in the Indian market at the price of INR 6.39 lakh ex-showroom. The MY22 Glanza is based on the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and comes with a dynamic, stylish and sporty design. The brand has also announced that the bookings for the new Glanza are open through all Toyota dealerships in the Indian market. Customers can book the Glanza by putting down an amount of INR 11,000 ex-showroom.

MY22 Toyota Glanza – Price and Variants

The new Toyota Glanza will be sold in four variants – E, S, G, V. The brand is offering both manual and AMT automatic transmission options, but the hatchback is available in only a single petrol engine option. The E variant comes with a price tag of INR 6.39 lakh ex-showroom and is only available in the manual transmission option.

The S variant starts from INR 7.29 lakh ex-showroom for the manual and goes up to INR 7.79 lakh ex-showroom for the automatic. The G version comes with a price tag of INR 8.24 lakh ex-showroom and goes up to INR 8.74 lakh ex-showroom for the automatic version. The top-of-the-line V variants in manual start at INR 9.19 lakh ex-showroom and INR 9.69 lakh ex-showroom for the automatic variant.

MY22 Toyota Glanza – Powertrain and Warranty

Powering the new Glanza is the new K-series engine from Maruti Suzuki. The 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine comes with Dual Jet, Dual VVT technology producing 89 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 5-speed manual as well as an optional 5-speed AMT gearbox. The new, improved and efficient gasoline engine claims a fuel efficiency of 22+ kmpl. Toyota also offers the Glanza with a warranty of 3 years/100,000 km. Customers also have the option to get a warranty extension of up to 5 years/220,000 km. The brand also offers its customers Roadside Assistance.

MY22 Toyota Glanza – Top Features

The new Toyota Glanza comes with features such as a new grille in chrome flanked by LED DRLs and headlamps. The car also comes with an aggressive new bumper and C-shaped taillamps. The hatchback also gets dual-tone alloy wheels with a machine finish. The car also comes with a Head-up Display and a 360-degree camera enhancing the safety of the occupants along with other road users. The Glanza also comes with features such as a Smartplay+ touchscreen infotainment system with Hey Toyota Voice Assistant.
