MY22 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will get paddle shifters

Ahead of the upcoming launch, Maruti Suzuki reveals a new teaser video for the MY22 Ertiga, which shows the new paddle shifters. The short glimpse of the steering wheel also reveals illuminated steering-mounted controls in red colour along with the new paddle shifters. A recent leak also reveals the model will come in four variants – LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+. The new 6-speed automatic transmission is likely to be available with all variants except the LXI.

MY22 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga – Pre-Bookings

Maruti Suzuki recently opened bookings for the new generation Ertiga, and interested customers can pre-book the MY22 Ertiga by paying an amount of INR 11,000. Customers can book the new generation Ertiga at any Maruti Suzuki ARENA showrooms across the country or by visiting the company’s website.

MY22 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga – Powertrain

The new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will use the latest generation K-Series engine. The Dual Jet, Dual VVT 1.5-litre engine will also get the company’s Progressive Smart Hybrid Technology One of the biggest highlights of the new powertrain is the new 6-speed automatic transmission. The new gearbox with additional ratios will give the Ertiga longer legs for highway cruising. The gearbox with paddle shifters will also enhance driver engagement. Maruti Suzuki claims improved fuel efficiency and refinement with the new engine. Meanwhile, the MY22 Ertiga will be available in the CNG version with the top-spec ZXI trim. However, the brand is not likely to offer a diesel powertrain on the Ertiga.

MY22 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga – Interior Changes

The MY22 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will feature a new infotainment system with connected features technology. The new 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen will feature ‘Suzuki Connect’. At the same time, the seat upholstery of the new Ertiga will also see an update. These are only a couple of the changes made to the interiors.
