BMW India has launched the new BMW i5 M60 xDrive in the Indian market at the price of INR 1.19 Crore ex-showroom. The all-electric BMW M Performance model, will arrive on the Indian soil via the CBU (Completely Built Up) route. The sporty executive sedan with M-specific features is available at all BMW dealerships across India from today onwards. The first-ever BMW i5 M60 xDrive a number of exterior and interior features as well as a number of BMW M Performance Accessories.
BMW i5 M60 xDrive – Technical Specifications and Performance
Powering the BMW i5 M60 xDrive comes with two highly integrated electric drive units. One on the front and another on the rear axle. The integrated drive units include electric motor, power electronics and transmission compactly combined in a common housing. This forms an electric all-wheel drive system for the i5 M60 xDrive that delivers 601 hp of power and a maximum torque of 795 Nm. Thanks to the powerful electric drivetrain with M performance characteristics, the EV is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hr in 3.8 seconds. Also, the BMW i5 M60 xDrive can achieve a top speed of 230 kmph.
BMW i5 M60 xDrive – Battery, Range and Charging
The all-electric BMW i5 M60 xDrive comes with a high-voltage battery with high energy density and a usable energy content of 81.2 kWh. The battery with compact dimensions is capable of offering a range of up to 516 kilometres on a single charge, according to the WLTP cycle. In addition to this, BMW is also offering a complimentary BMW Wallbox charger with installation with the i5 M60 xDrive. The callbox charger can be integrated at home to enable charging up to 11 kW. Furthermore, a 22 kW AC Charging Professional is also available as an option.
