Kawasaki India launches the 2022 Ninja 300 ABS in the Indian market. The popular motorcycle comes in at an unchanged sticker price of INR 3,37,000 ex-showroom. The Ninja 300 ABS has been on sale for a while but continues to interest customers. The model is the entry point to the Kawasaki brand in India.
The 2022 update is limited to the bike’s aesthetics, and there are no mechanical changes. Bookings for the new model have begun from 27th April 2022 across all the Kawasaki dealerships. In addition to this, interested customers can also send a booking enquiry from the company’s official website.
2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300 ABS – What’s New?
The new Ninja 300 ABS comes in three colours – Lime Green, Candy Lime Green and Ebony. The Lime Green colour is the same as the previous model. The Lime Green and Candy Lime colours are dual-tone colours, and the latter gets new graphics on the side panels and fuel tank. While the Ebony, which is a Deep Black Colour, gets contrasting green and grey-coloured strips on the side panels and fuel tank. According to the company, the introduction of new colours will also increase the bike’s sales as it now looks even more aspirational.
2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300 ABS – Powertrain
The Ninja 300 ABS uses a 296cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke parallel-twin engine. The bike also uses an 8-valve Double Overhead Camshaft valvetrain. The bike’s cylinder head also features an open-deck design for better heat dissipation. In addition to this, the pistons also have a Hard Alumite Coating on them. The engine also gets dual throttle valves and electronic fuel injection which help churn out 39 PS of peak power and 26.1 Nm of peak torque. Complementing the engine performance is a racing-derived clutch technology. The Assist and Slipper Clutch offers a lighter clutch pull and a back-torque limiting function.
