Good news for the ones looking to get the Kawasaki Versys 650. As per the latest reports, the motorcycle is available at a discount of up to INR 70,000. For your reference, the motorcycle currently retails at an ex-showroom price of INR 7.15 lakh. And now, after the discount, the ex-showroom price comes down to INR 6.45 lakh. Kawasaki India mentioned that this is a limited period offer with the last date as 30th April 2022. Just to mention that Kawasaki has already unveiled the 2022 update for the motorcycle that we saw at the RICA motorcycle show last year. And very soon, 2022 will make its way onto the showrooms.
What Is The Kawasaki Versys 650?
Powering the motorcycle is a BS6-compliant 650cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. The performance figure reads as 64.8 Bhp of power and 60.7 Nm of peak torque. The bike is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox unit. Braking power comes from a dual-disc setup at the front and a single-disc for the rear. The anti-locking braking system is a standard fitment for the motorcycle. In terms of fuel capacity, Versys 650 gets a 21-litre fuel tank. Suspension duty is taken care of by inverted front forks and a rear mono-shock.
Kawasaki offers the Versys 650 motorcycle with twin-split headlights and an adjustable windscreen. Other features include a wide handlebar, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a step-up seat and an underbelly exhaust. With the 2022 update, the motorcycle will get a revised headlight design that will pack LED lighting. Furthermore, the update will add a Bluetooth-enabled TFT colour display.
Colours, Price, Availability
The current iteration model is available in a single colour shade which is the Candy Lime Green. Kawasaki has not revealed the date when the 2022 model will arrive at the Indian shores. But we expect this will happen sometime in the second half of the season. The other options in this segment include the Benelli TRK 502X and the Honda CB500X.
