The Italian brand Moto Morini has finally launched its Seiemmezzo twins, the Retro Street, and the Scrambler for the Indian market. The former retails at an ex-showroom price of INR 6.89 lakh. Meanwhile, the latter’s price range starts at INR 6.99 lakh. Both the prices mentioned are for the ex-showroom.
Key Highlights Of The Seiemmezzo Twins
As evident from the name, Retro Street is a neo-retro roadster. Meanwhile, the Scrambler is more suited for adventure riding. Although, both motorcycles share the same platform. In fact, the styling too is pretty much the same. There are some subtle differences in the styling which we will talk about later. a majority of styling with subtle differences.
The Retro Street carries the look of being more traditional. The round headlamp, a circular fuel tank, and a minimalistic floating tail add to the overall design of the motorcycle. Meanwhile, the scrambler brings in more visual excitement with a tiny fly screen, golden USD forks, a beak-like front fender, and a tan seat. Both motorcycles also offer slightly different ergonomics. This is due to the difference in their handlebar design.
Mechanicals, Suspension, And Braking Setup
Powering the bikes is the same 649cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. The performance output of this unit reads as 54.2 BHP and 54 Nm. The equipped gearbox is a six-speed unit. Both bikes ride on an 18-17-inch wheel combination that looks pretty fine with the motorcycles. The key difference between both motorcycles is the type of wheel. The Scrambler rides on spokes while the Retro Street gets alloys. Based on a tubular frame, these bikes make use of upside-down forks up front and a mono-shock for the rear. Noteworthy to mention, both are adjustable. The braking setup consists of dual discs at the front and a single rotor at the rear.
