Mercedes-Benz has announced a new service by the name Fast Lane Body & Paint repair which is a one of a kind initiative in the luxury car market for quick accidental repairs. The brand claims that customers can have their luxury cars repaired to original condition within 3 days after being specified with the work to be done. Mercedes-Benz mentions that this quick service is possible by making use of new processes, quick procurement and using paint material which ensures faster drying. Mercedes-Benz also states that this comes at no compromise in overall quality. The Fast Lane Body & Paint repair service will be first available for customers in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and later roll out to other cities across India.
Mercedes-Benz recently introduced their EQ brand in India, which will bring in electric powertrains to our market. The EQC will be the first product to be launched in India in Q2 of 2020. Mercedes-Benz has also announced that at the upcoming Auto Expo, they will introduce the new A-Class Limousine, new GLA SUV and the 4-door Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S. The German luxury car brand currently leads the market here in India, and has more than 10 product launches for 2020.
The brand motto here in India for 2020 is ‘Restless For Tomorrow’ and Mercedes-Benz is all set to keep up with their momentum to stay well ahead of competition in the sales race which includes BMW, Audi, Volvo & Lexus. With the EQ brand, Mercedes-Benz will try to promote sustainable luxury motoring thanks to the battery-operated powertrain.
2019 was the 5th year in a row when Mercedes-Benz was leading the luxury car market in India. The brand recorded a sales volume of 13,786 units between January – December 2019 and has already upgraded its range of petrol and diesel cars to meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms. The brand portfolio consists of hatchbacks, MPVs, sedans of all sizes and even SUVs. Not to forget, the AMG range of performance cars and the epitome of luxury with the Maybach range.
