Maruti Suzuki celebrates decades of leadership in India

Maruti Suzuki is celebrating the brand’s three decades of leadership in offering the country’s most fuel-efficient cars. The brand has initiated a new ‘Kam Se Kaam Banega’ campaign in the Indian market extending the ‘People Technology’ campaign. The new Kam Se Kaam Banega campaign also carry forwards the narrative of ‘Fuel Efficiency’. Fuel efficiency is one of the most important factors, as fuel prices have rocketed in India.

The Indian consumers expect maximum fuel efficiency from cars without compromising on performance and safety. Maruti Suzuki boasts that the brand has offered the country’s most fuel-efficient cars across all segments, reverberating with the Kam Se Kaam Banega. The brand has also revealed that it is working in close partnership with Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan promoting environmentally friendly products.

Maruti Suzuki Technological Advances

The brand has announced that the brand has innovative technologies such as Smart Hybrid, S-CNG, K-Series engines and HEARTECT platform. The company offers fuel-efficient products that meet the changing consumer requirements. According to Maruti Suzuki, the company has improved up to 30% in fuel efficiency through its technologies. The brand boasts that it has systematically invested in advanced technologies to achieve high efficiency in its vehicles.

Maruti Suzuki Smart Hybrid Technology

Maruti Suzuki was the first brand in the Indian market to introduce hybrid technology in mass-market cars. The Maruti Suzuki Smart Hybrid technology comes with a dual battery setup including a Li-ion battery. This technology offers torque assist, Idle start-stop and brake energy regeneration. Currently, the brand offers the Smart Hybrid technology on the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Ertiga, S-Cross, Vitara Brezza AT, XL6 and Baleno. Along with this, the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Dzire feature the Next-Gen K12N engine with ISS technology.

Maruti Suzuki Engine, Platform and S-CNG Technology

The brand offers a wide range of S-CNG vehicles including the Alto, Celerio, WagonR, S-PRESSO, Ertiga and EECO. The brand also offers S-CNG technology on the EECO Cargo, Super Carry, Tour H1, Tour H2, Tour S, Tour V and Tour M in the commercial vehicle segment. Maruti Suzuki claims that the WagonR 1.0 equipped with S-CNG technology return a mileage of 32.52 Km/kg. The vehicles come equipped with K10B, K12M, K15B and Next-Gen Dual VVT Dual Injector K12N Engine and the next generation global platform “HEARTECT” with the focus on safety.
