Last year, Mahindra released a teaser about three new electric concept SUVs. This was back in February 2022. Now, the Indian carmaker is all set to showcase these next-gen electric SUVs for India soon.
When is the showcase planned for?
According to Mahindra, the SUVs will break cover at the Mahindra EV Fashion Festival in Hyderabad. This event is set to take place on February 10, 2023.

The new-gen all-electric SUVs were first showcased at the MADE, in the UK. MADE stands for Mahindra Advanced Design Europe.
These new electric SUVs will be underpinned by the INGLO platform. This platform is derived from the Volkswagen Group’s MEB architecture. The design allows a variety of battery packs ranging from 60 kWh to 80 kWh and supports both single and dual-motor configurations.
This new EV range will be divided into two sub-brands. Called as the BE and XUV.e. While the BE range will include the likes of BE.05, BE.07 and BE.09, the XUV.e line-up will consist the XUV.e8 and XUV.e9.
What is MADE?
MADE aims to bring forward Mahindra’s 75 years of heritage through unique customer-centric products. The design team will work towards the development of safe, thrilling and efficient cars. M.A.D.E will also develop farm equipment vertical and two-wheeler department. Mahindra also employs experts from Coventry University, Royal College of Art, as well as other design colleges in the United Kingdom and Europe. The design centre also has advanced capabilities in the field of CMF (Colour, Material and Finish). M.A.D.E also claims to fulfil its commitment towards bringing authentic SUVs into the brand portfolio.

The Mahindra XUV400 is the latest EV from Mahindra. It made its debut at the Indian Auto Expo and has received quite an overwhelming response from customers. The fact that the electric SUV’s bookings have crossed 10,000 already, further ascertains the fact. Mahindra has started taking bookings for their first electric SUV, the XUV400. And within just 5 days of launch, the car has already garnered over 10k bookings, which is quite remarkable.
