After the successful launch of Nexon EV and Safari in Nepal, Tata Motors now introduces Tiago NRG. In partnership with Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., Tata Motors will bring in the crossover to the hilly country. With the growing demand for SUVs and crossovers worldwide, the Nepal market is also likely to respond positively to this new introduction. The tagline of ‘Urban Toughroader’ perfectly matches the terrain of Nepal, which is often challenging and demanding. Tata Motors claims that the high ground clearance and performance makes the Tiago NRG the perfect choice.
Engine And Powertrain
Tiago NRG gets a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that makes 86 PS of power and 113 Nm torque. There are two gearbox options, a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. Measuring 3,802 mm in length, 1,677 mm in width and 1,537 mm in height, the driver, won’t find it difficult to tackle narrow lanes. The fuel tank of 35 litres gives an adequate driving range for weekend trips. The Tiago comes equipped with ABS, Electronic Brake-Force Distribution, and Corner Stability Control to help the driver to maintain stability even in sharp hairpin turns.
Features List
With the growing competition, automakers are including a host of features and enhance their value-for-money proposition. The Tiago NRG boasts Autofold ORVMs, Push Button Start/Stop, Full Digital Cluster, Charcoal Black interiors and fabric seats with deco stitching. In addition to this, customers also get a 7-inch infotainment system by Harman that provides superior sound quality.
Price And Colours
Tata Motors has put on a sticker price of NPR 33.75 lakhs for the Tiago NRG. Customers will have four colours to choose from – Forest Green, Fire Red, Snow White, and Cloudy Grey.
