The Lexus LS sedans have been in the luxury segment for 3 decades and have been known for their powertrain smoothness, ride quietness, craftsmanship, attention to detail, documented dependability and long-term quality.

With a bold & XL sized front grille in the signature spindle design, the Lexus LS500h comes only with the long wheelbase version here in India. The luxury sedan is based on the new ultra-rigid Global Architecture – Luxury (GA-L) platform. The LS500h also sports a new multi-link air suspension system.

The LS500h is powered by a 3.5L V6 petrol engine combined with a 310.8 kV Lithium ion battery, delivering 15.38 km/litre in a BS6 compliant vehicle. Here the petrol engine produces 220 kW & 350 Nm while the electric hybrid motor produces 132 kW & 300 Nm. Engine has been matched to a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

For entertainment, you have a 23-speaker Mark Levinson Quantum Logic Immersion (QLI) Reference Sound System.

At the back you have a legroom of 1022mm along with massage seat technology & heating functions and ottomans.

Lexus is looking at expanding its footprint in India, and after having the first year established for brand building, will now focus on volumes.
