At the end of last year, Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM upgraded the 390 Adventure in the international market. The brand revealed that the new KTM 390 Adventure features stronger and lighter alloy wheels and a host of upgraded electronic features. As a cherry on top, the motorcycle also comes with a new paint theme. However, the brand could possibly be developing a more hardcore version of the 390 Adventure. Currently, the name of the motorcycle is unknown but given by the spy shots, it could be aptly named 390 Enduro.
KTM 390 Enduro – Spyshots
The KTM 390 Enduro appears to be under development, and sources believe that the motorcycle will come with off-road specific features. The motorcycle in the spy shots appears to be in the early stages of development and is covered in camouflage covers. The front fascia appears similar to the KTM 390 Adventure sans windscreen. But it could have been removed for testing. The engine is also likely to be the same as the current-generation 390 Adventure.
But the brand could have made a lot of changes to the running gear of the motorcycle. For starters, spy shots reveal that the KTM 390 Enduro is likely to come with 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. The brand could offer spoke wheels as standard, shod in block pattern Continental TKC 80 tyres. The chassis remains quite similar to the 390 Adventure; however, the new Enduro could come with a chunkier and more robust engine hanger. KTM is also likely to offer a redesigned swingarm which could be more purposeful off roads.
The KTM 390 Enduro is also likely to come with a large LED cluster headlamp, upright handlebar, knuckle guards, a sleek fuel tank profile, straight bench seats, a rugged engine bash plate etc. The bike in the spy shots also comes with a high-mount fender on the front.
KTM 390 Enduro – Will it come to India?
As of now, information on the launch timeline in India as well as abroad is sparse. The brand could introduce the 390 Enduro in the international markets first, followed by the Indian market, where the demand for adventure motorcycles has risen. More information on the new motorcycle and the launch timeline will be released soon.
