One of the three new products by Keeway for India is the Vieste 300 maxi-scooter. The market currently does not have a proper maxi-scooter. This is because none of the available options currently offer a conventional maxi-scooter’s performance or comfort. Keeway decided to fill in this void with the new Vieste 300.
The maxi-scooter will be brought to India as a completely knocked-down (CKD) unit. Like the other offerings, Keeway will assemble them at the same assembly plant as Benelli’s. Interested customers can register their interest by visiting the official website. Additionally, the maxi-scooter is also available for bookings by paying INR 10,000. The scooter will be available for test rides from 26th May. Deliveries will start in June from the same outlets as Benelli.

The Keeway Vieste 300 perfectly meets the needs of a commuter looking for a powerful maxi-scooter. In fact, the Vieste 300 is India’s most powerful maxi-scooter under 300cc. Keeway says the Vieste 300 gets a chiselled European look, effortless performance and comfort, all in one package. The company made the scooter to keep up with a demanding lifestyle and exceed the requirements of the daily urban commuter.
The maxi-scooter gets a sleek design that is also aerodynamic. The angular bodywork is both aesthetic and functional as it wraps around the cockpit. Furthermore, this also reduces turbulence at high speed. To provide ample illumination, the headlights use four LED projectors. Additionally, they also have DRLs. The rear features flush-mounted LED taillight and turn signal indicators. Combined with the slim bodywork gives it a clean European look.
Powering the Vieste 300 is a 278cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine which makes 18.7 HP at 6500 rpm and 22 Nm at 6000 rpm. The scooter uses the latest chassis and drivetrain technology, focusing on providing effortless rides. The maxi-scooter gets a 12-litre fuel tank, Continental Belt Drive System and front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. Additionally, for maximum convenience, the maxi-scooter gets a keyless fob. The Vieste 300 is available in three colours – Matte Black, Matte Blue and Matte White.
