Kawasaki Vulcan S cruiser gets new colours for MY22

Kawasaki has launched the new MY22 Vulcan S cruiser motorcycle in the European market. For the 2022 Model Year, the Kawasaki Vulcan S comes with three colour options. The new colourways include the new Metallic Matte Graphene steel Grey/Metallic Matte Graphite Gray, Metallic Flat Spark Black and Candy Crimson Red. Apart from the new colourways, the MY22 Vulcan S remains the same in terms of the engine and mechanical features. 

MY2022 Kawasaki Vulcan S – Colours

The MY22 Kawasaki Vulcan S features the latest Metallic Matte Graphene steel Gray/Metallic Matte Graphite Grey colour. The motorcycle comes with a dark grey theme with graphene graphics and Green highlights in this colour option. Other colours include a metallic flat sparkle black consisting of a black tank and black front and rear fenders. The third colour option is the Candy Crimson Red colour option. The Candy Crimson Red comes with a candy red tank and candy red front and rear fenders. 

MY2022 Kawasaki Vulcan S – Technical Specifications

The Kawasaki Vulcan S comes with a Euro5 emission standard compliant 649cc parallel-twin engine. The liquid-cooled engine produces 61 PS of power and 62.4 Nm of torque. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed transmission. The engine is tried and tested and does duty on other Kawasaki motorcycles such as the Ninja 650, Z650 and Versys 650, in different states of tune. The cruiser motorcycle also features a 41mm conventional telescopic front fork suspension and offset laydown monoshock on the rear. The bike rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels with 300mm front and 250mm disc brakes. The Kawasaki Vulcan S comes with a 229 kg weight at the kerb.

MY2022 Kawasaki Vulcan S – Ergonomics & Features

The Kawasaki Vulcan S comes with Kawasaki’s ERGO-FIT sizing system. The ERGO-FIT system allows the rider to customise the seat height, the handlebar reach and the footpeg position. This helps the rider get a comfortable feet-forward riding position. The motorcycle also comes with features such as a semi-digital dashboard, scooped seats, under-engine muffler, economical riding indicator, dual throttle valves and ABS.
