Electric mobility solutions brand, Kabira announces that the brand’s two new electric motorcycles the KM 3000 and the KM 4000 have made their debut in the Indian market starting at the price of INR 1.27 lakh ex-showroom. The KM 3000 and KM 4000 add to the brand’s vast existing line-up of electric two-wheelers which includes e-scooter such as the Kollegio, Kollegio Neo, Kollegio Plus, Aetos 100, Intercity Aeolus and Intercity Neo.
Powertrain
Powering the Kabira KM 3000 is an IP67-rated 6 kW peak power DeltaEV BLDC Hub electric motor which is capable of accelerating the motorcycle from 0-40 kmph in just 3.3 seconds and propel the motorcycle to a top speed of 100 kmph. The KM 3000 comes with a 4.0 kWh Lithium-Ion (LFP) battery pack that returns a range of 120 km on a single charge, 95 km in the city and 60 km of sports range. The KM 4000 comes with an 8 kW peak power DeltaEV BLDC Hub electric motor that can accelerate the motorcycle from 0-40 kmph in just 3.1 seconds and achieve a top speed of 120 km. The battery is a 4.5 kWh Lithium-Ion (LFP) and is capable of returning an Eco range of 150 km, City range of 110 km and 90 km of range per charge in the Sports mode.
Design & Styling
The Kabira KM 3000 features a fully-faired SuperSport design on the electric motorcycle and comes with an aerodynamic body with a sharp nose, twin split headlamps, a sporty windscreen, clip-on style handlebars, wing mirrors, a chiselled fuel tank, sharptail and a high mounted seat. The Kabira KM 4000 features muscular styling and comes with a low-slung headlamp unit, a small flyscreen, a sharp tail section, LED tail lights, disc brakes on the front and rear, etc.
Features
The electric motorcycles also feature an advanced fully digital instruments system with Bluetooth connectivity and a dedicated mobile phone application. The motorcycles also come with features such as Anti-Theft Mode which locks the wheel in case of unauthorised movement.
