FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) has introduced a new certified pre-owned vehicle sales channel called ‘SELECTEDforYOU’. The new platform gives customers the opportunity to trade in any existing vehicle for either a new or a certified pre-owned Jeep Compass using a dedicated contactless digital channel.
The new pre-owned channel was launched as a pilot project in metropolitan cities Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad in 2019 and now the brand has launched the ‘SELECTEDforYOU’, currently operational with 42 FCA dealerships across India and will be expanded to 65 by August this year.
At ‘SELECTEDforYOU’ customers can exchange cars from any brand to trade-in for a new or a pre-owned Jeep Compass. All the pre-owned Jeep Compass offered are certified only after thorough verification of past ownership, service records, a 125-point inspection check and extensive pre-sale on-road testing. The SELECTEDforYOU certified Jeep Compass will be offered with a warranty of 36 months or 60,000 km along with 24×7 Roadside Assistance (RSA). The Jeep Compass has also received Best Residual Value SUV and Best Pre-owned SUV award twice in 2019 when the ‘SELECTEDforYOU’ pilot project was in operation.
In related news, FCA revealed the MY2021 Jeep Compass which is expected to go on sale in the international market in the second half of this year. The new Jeep Compass receives only minor updates to its front and rear with only a slightly revised grille with honeycomb inserts along with chrome accents, headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, six new options with alloy wheels sizing of up to 19-inch and five new exterior colours – Ivory Tri-Coat, Colorado Red, Blue Italia, Blue Shade and Techno Green Metallic.
The new Jeep Compass is powered by a new 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 130 Hp or 150 Hp of power depending on the gearbox maximising fuel-efficiency, ensuring lower CO2 emissions as well as both on-road & off-road performance. Alternatively, an updated 1.6-litre MultiJet II diesel engine with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) producing 120 Hp of power is also on offer.
