In a bid to boost the sales of its popular models like the Amaze and Elevate, Honda has officially introduced the retrofit CNG kits for both cars in India. Read the complete details below.

Honda Elevate CNG – Engine, specs, price details
As the government keeps strengthening its laws for green mobility in India, manufacturers are opting for various methods to offer reliable and efficient products. In such a move, Honda has introduced the Elevate CNG SUV with a retrofit CNG kit option.
As per the company, customers who are willing to buy a more economical bi-fuel CNG version of the Elevate can now get one by opting for a retrofit CNG kit. This CNG kit is government-approved, and it will be fitted at the individual dealership level.
However, Honda has not released the information about the pricing for the CNG kit or the engine specifications, like the power and torque output. All we know is that the Elevate CNG is based on the 1.5-litre i-Vtec engine, and it will be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission only.
Honda Amaze CNG details
Identical to the Elevate CNG, Honda has also introduced the retrofit CNG kit option on the new Amaze compact sedan. The CNG kit option for the Amaze is available from a starting price of Rs 7.91 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Amaze CNG is based on the 1.2-litre i-Vtec petrol engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox.
