Even after the dawn of compact-sedans, it is the C2 segment which the Indian market considers as a full size sedan.
In the C2 segment, the Honda City has been a dominant force for the longest of times, even though it lost the edge in between due to the lack of a diesel motor.
Maruti Suzuki however got back in the game thanks to the Ciaz. Previous products such as the Baleno & SX4 were barely even in anyone’s consideration list while out shopping for a car.
Currently, the Honda City holds the #1 spot while the Ciaz follows at #2 with the one upon a time leader, the Hyundai Verna at a distant #3rd spot.
