Honda Cars India announces its sales report for September 2021. The carmaker sold a total of 6,765 units in the domestic market for the given period. In terms of international business, Honda Cars India exported 2,964 units. Last year, the figure for the same period stood at 10,199 units in domestic sales and 170 units as exports. The demand is on the rise with the opening up of businesses and an increase in vaccination drives.

In fact, the upcoming festive season will further propel the sales to new highs, thus providing the automakers with some relief after the subdued sales during the pandemic time. Honda Cars India also talked about the shortage in supply of semiconductor chips. This has impacted production volume, which in turn is affecting the sales figure. But the company has made it clear that they will align their production to meet the overwhelming demand of the customers in this festive season.
