Honda recently announced that the brand has completely sold out the 2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour in the Indian market. The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer launched the Honda Gold Wing Tour in India at INR 37.20 lakh ex-showroom price. The brand boasts that within 24 hours of the announcement, the first lot of the Gold Wing Tour saw 100% bookings. The grand touring model comes to the Indian soil via the CBU (Completely Built-Up) route.
In addition to the energetic sales of the Gold Wing Tour, the brand also announced that post relaxation of COVID-19 protocols, Honda delivered 15 motorcycles of the Honda CB650R neo-sports cafe and CBR650R supersport in a single day. Both the 2021 Honda CB650R and the CBR650R come to the Indian market via the CKD (Completely Knocked-Down) route. Honda retails the CB650R with a price tag of INR 8.67 lakh ex-showroom. While the Honda CBR650R is priced at INR 8.88 lakh ex-showroom.
2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour
Powering the Honda Gold Wing Tour is a 1,833cc flat-six cylinder engine. The liquid-cooled motor produces 126 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. The motor also comes with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) as well as a plethora of features. These include Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), Idling Stop and Hill Start Assist (HSA). Honda offers two transmission options with the Gold Wing Tour – a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed automatic DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission).
2021 Honda CB650R
The neo-retro sports cafe motorcycle comes with a 649cc in-line four-cylinder engine. The engine comes with an electronic fuel injection system and produces 86 Hp of power and 57.5 Nm of torque. The motor comes with a 6-speed transmission with an assist/slipper clutch. The engine also comes with a Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). Other features include Showa Separate Function-Big Piston (SSF-BP) USD Forks, Dual channel ABS, ESS (Emergency Stop Signal), Honda Ignition Security System (HISS) etc.
2021 Honda CBR650R
The supersport motorcycle also comes with a 649cc in-line four-cylinder motor that makes 86 Hp of power and 57.5 Nm of torque. The CBR650R also comes with a 6-speed gearbox with Slipper/Assist clutch. Both the CB650R and the CBR650R come with the same features and are available to order from exclusive Honda BigWing Topline dealerships.
