Sales Figure Of April Hampered By Multiple Factors
The temporary closure of the manufacturing plants is the main reason for the subdued sales figure. There are multiple dealerships across the countries which remain closed given the current rising Covid-19 cases. To help break the chain of the spread of the virus, Hero MotoCorp is taking multiple important steps. The closure of its manufacturing facilities along with its Global Parts Center in Neemrana and the R&D facility in Jaipur till 9th May 2021 will aim to curtail the spread of the virus. As per plans, the plants will resume from 10th May 2021. The corporate offices are following work-from-home mode with very limited personnel at the offices.
